This ethnic group does not belong to any region, they inhabit small communities scattered between Bocas del Toro and Veraguas. Among its most outstanding arts and crafts is the making of dyed vegetable fibre hats. They also make baskets and nap sacks of fiber or bark. The men generally dress with pants and short western shirts and women regularly wear the typical Ngöbe dress replacing the geometric applications for colored cloth. |
